How to Have a GRAND Valentine’s Day with Your Littles

February 8, 2022

Have I got some good Valentine’s Day ideas for the littles in your life! I didn’t steer you wrong in my last post, did I? Those were some A+ ideas for your Valentines. Well, today let’s focus on our grandkids!

Here are some ideas for you to pick and choose from with guaranteed happy hearts as a result!

First up: Tried and True

You can’t go wrong with candy on Valentine’s Day. I found these cute little boxes of chocolate at Dollar Tree. This was my standard gift to our boys as they were growing up. The tradition continues with our grands…but I may add a few more goodies to supplement.

Like these lollipop lips!

Or these heart-shaped ring pops.

Presentation’s Everything!

I found a place on Etsy that will personalize cloth bags for you. Here’s a link to their site.

Here are some really cute cloth bags that I found on Dollar Tree’s website. And some smaller treat bags.

And some plastic heart-shaped baskets that are fun. You can get them from Oriental Trading Company here.

Oh, Baby, Baby!

If you have a Valentine’s baby, check out the pajamas above from Burt’s Bees. This product line is so soft and sweet you’ll be wanting to gobble the little sweethearts up.

Gap has some adorable Valentine’s Pajamas. Look at these from Old Navy too.

You can’t miss with Hanna Andersson for cute Valentine p.j.’s, tee shirts, sweatshirts or dresses.

Book It or Bathe It

I always love giving books and there are so many sweet ones. I think the sticker book by Brain Games and the Laugh Out Loud Valentine’s Day Joke Book for Kids shown above look like a lot of fun. Just tap on the pictures for the links.

And you can’t miss with Valentine stories from The Little Blue Truck, The Berenstain Bears, or  Pinkalicious.

Finally, the bath! What kids wouldn’t love a good bath bomb like these from Two Sisters? Or these I found on Etsy.

And don’t count out a good old-fashioned Valentine card. It’s fun for kids to get mail and it’s a keepsake of their grandparent’s love.

What are you giving your littles for Valentine’s Day this year?

My only granddaughter is turning 21 on Valentine’s Day. Doesn’t seem possible! But I am still making up a Valentine gift to go along with her birthday gift. Sap that I am, she will still get an Easter basket too. I miss her being little!!!!
